Saturday May 8th: participants' arrival
at CATANIA AIRPORT,
reception and registration in the
Best Western Mediterraneo Palace Hotel. Dinner in the
hotel. After dinner, a brief lecture by Gaetano Cosentini about Ibla baroque.
Sunday May 9th: Visit to Scicli and
Modica. Lunch in a restaurant in Modica.
Dinner in Ragusa.
Monday
May 10th: Visit to Ragusa and Ragusa
Ibla (the old part of the city). Lunch in a restaurant in Ragusa Ibla.
Visit of Ragusa Prefettura. Dinner in the restaurant "Il Baglio".
Tuesday May 11th: Visit to
Noto. Lunch in a restaurant in Noto. Dinner at the Villa Fortugno
restaurant (Ragusa).
Wednesday May 12th:
Visit of the Kamarina Museum and the Ragusa coast (Marina di Ragusa,
Sampieri and so on). Lunch in Marina di Ragusa.
Dinner in Ragusa restaurant.
Thursday May 13th: Visit to
Siracusa.
Lunch. 6.30 PM Performance
of ancient drama in the Greek Theatre of Syracusae (optional) or
shopping in Syracusae. Dinner in Syracusae.
Friday May 14th: Visit to the "Donnafugata
castle". Visit of the castle. Lunch in agritourism "Villa
Zottopera". 08.00 PM Ragusa St John Cathedral, Organ concert by maestro Marco D'Avola. Dinner
at the "Antica Badia" restaurant.
Saturday May 15th: Departure.
