Saturday May 9th: participants' arrival
at CATANIA AIRPORT,
reception and registration in the
Best Western Mediterraneo Palace Hotel. Dinner in the
hotel. After dinner, a brief lecture by Gaetano Cosentini about Ibla baroque.
Sunday May 10th: Visit to Ragusa and Ragusa
Ibla (the old part of the city). Lunch in a restaurant in Ragusa Ibla.
Visit of Ragusa Prefettura. Dinner with the Ragusa
Rotary club members.
Monday
May 11th: Visit to Scicli and
Modica. Lunch in the "Costanza d'Altavilla" restaurant.
Dinner at "Il Baglio" restaurant.
Tuesday May 12th: Visit to
Piazza Armerina. Lunch in agritourism. Free afternoon. Dinner in the
hotel.
Wednesday May 13th: Visit to
the Donnafugata Castle and Villa Fegotto. Lunch in agritourism Villa
Zottopera. 08.00 PM Ragusa St John Cathedral, Organ concert by maestro Marco D'Avola. Dinner
at the Villa Fortugno restaurant.
Thursday May 14th: Visit to
Siracusa.
Lunch. 6.30 PM Performance
of ancient drama in the Greek Theatre of Syracusae (optional) or
shopping in Syracusae. Dinner in Syracusae.
Friday May 15th: Visit to
Noto. Lunch in
a restaurant in Noto. 6:30 PM Departure to the "Donnafugata
castle". Visit of the castle. Gala Dinner in Villa Criscione
restaurant. Folk performance. Greeting of the
Rotary club president.
Saturday May 16th: Departure.
